Tourism NSW partnered with Lord Howe Island Tourism, QantasLink and specialist agents to produce the Winter 2010 campaign for Lord Howe Island.
The campaign featured value-for-money travel and accommodation offers for the winter period. People were encouraged to visit the Island from 1 June to 31 August with five night packages starting from $719 on sale for a limited time. The campaign was in market for four weeks from May 2.
The campaign included:
- Print advertising - Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Herald Sun Escape feature.
- Banners and multi-links on Fairfax websites, Yahoo performance networks and display, and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
- Sub-article in Escapes E-newsletter
- Advertising in Travel Daily newsletter, Travel Today and on Travel Weekly website
- New content and packages on www.visitnsw.com/lordhowe
Lord Howe Island Winter Campaign | May 2009
Tourism NSW partnered with Lord Howe Island Tourism, QantasLink and specialist agents to produce the winter 2009 campaign for Lord Howe Island.
The campaign featured value-for-money travel and accommodation offers for the autumn and winter period. People were encouraged to visit the Island from 18 May to 18 September with five night packages starting from $699 on sale for a limited time only. The campaign was in market for three weeks from April 26.
The campaign included:
- Sunday Telegraph Escape feature, print advertising in Sunday Magazine, Gourmet Traveller and Australian Traveller
- Editorial in The Sunday Telegraph and the The Daily Telegraph Escape section, www.visitnsw.com/lordhowe on page two index and weather page of The Daily Telegraph
- Media visits
- Banners on News Limited websites and multi-links on Fairfax sites
- Print and online advertising in trade media
- New content and packages on www.visitnsw.com/lordhowe
Lord Howe Island Winter Campaign | May 2008
The Lord Howe Island Winter 2008 advertising activity commenced on 4 May in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Tourism NSW partnered with the Lord Howe Island Regional Tourism Organisation, QantasLink and specialist travel agents to develop a range of online tactical activity.
Branded tactical activity included:
- Online advertising including Google and Yahoo! Search Engine Marketing, Insider’s Guide to NSW on www.news.com.au, Pure Profile, electronic direct marketing, multilinks on SMH, The Age and Brisbane Times websites and advertorial on Ninemsn Travel
- Promotion in Tourism NSW’s electronic consumer newsletter – escapes
- New Lord Howe Island package deals on the Tourism NSW consumer website – www.visitnsw.com/lordhowe
