South Coast of NSW

The South Coast of NSW stretches south from the Illawarra just below Sydney, to the Victorian border.

Visitors value this region for its uncrowded beaches, natural features and coastal village lifestyle.

The South Coast of NSW is seen as a perfect holiday haven offering fun and relaxation, easy access to nature, quaint seaside villages, and the enjoyment of fresh food and wine.

Tourism NSW works the South Coast Regional Tourism Organisation and the tourism regions/destinations:  Sapphire Coast, Eurobodalla, Shoalhaven, Kiama, Shellharbour and Wollongong.

Tourism NSW’s objectives are to create a higher destination awareness, to affect the preference and to influence intention to visit the South Coast of NSW. The campaign focuses on reasons to visit in the shoulder season leading into winter, when visitor numbers are traditionally lower.

Marketing Campaigns
Tourism NSW runs marketing campaigns to promote the South Coast of NSW throughout the year, often in conjunction with industry partners.  These can include brand and tactical activity, across a range of mediums, including television, print, online and public relations.
