These campaigns are designed to encourage domestic leisure visitation to Sydney to experience all the destination has to offer including its distinctive dining, fashion, lifestyle and culture, and its multitude of world-class events.

The Sydney in Winter campaign is promoting travel to Sydney from June to August 2011. It was developed based on industry feedback indicating a need to promote the winter season and school holiday periods.

sydney.com - free opportunity: sydney.com will be the call to action for the Sydney in Winter campaign and will showcase a range of offers for travel 1 June - 31 August 2011. You can feature offers on sydney.com over the campaign period free of charge. The objective is to drive leads and bookings to industry.

In 2009, Tourism NSW launched the Viva Sydney Card promotion. Based on the success of the promotion, Tourism NSW has extended the validity of the Viva Sydney Card until 30 June 2011.
There are currently over 1 million households with a Viva Sydney Card in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, regional NSW and Canberra. The card has been highly successful averaging monthly results in 2010 of 22,000 visits to sydney.com/viva and generating 3,000 leads to participating tourism industry partners.
The Viva Sydney Card promotion enables domestic and international consumers to experience more of Sydney by showcasing the diversity and plethora of Sydney’s hotels, attractions, events, spas, bars and dining experiences.
Viva Sydney Cardholders can “Invite a Friend for FREE*" to participating Sydney hotels, bars, restaurants, attractions, shows, events and spas until 30 June 2011.

This monthly electronic consumer newsletter is distributed to over 132,000 opt-in Tourism NSW subscribers nationally. There is a dedicated Sydney editorial feature in each e-blast, complemented by partner sub-advertorials.
