Tourism Business Licensing

Your tourism business may need government licences and permits before it can start. Examples include licences for accommodation providers, tour operators and travel agents.

The Business Licence Information Service (BLIS) is a free service run by the NSW Office of Fair Trading. It simplifies the process of finding out which licences your business needs.

BLIS provides information on licence requirements through its computerised database. By either making one phone call or visiting BLIS online you can find out which licences you need and the forms required.
